Located in the small, gated community of Serra Retreat, the Malibu estate of Braveheart star Mel Gibson is on the market. Owned by the actor since 1993, the six-bedroom, six-bathroom main house sits on a lushly landscaped lot full of mature trees, fruit orchards and organic gardens. Mel originally listed the home for $14.5 million in 2010 but has since slashed the price to $12.75 million. After two additional price reductions, Mel Gibson’s Malibu estate is now listed for $11.25 million. UPDATE: After multiple price cuts, Mel Gibson finally sold his Malibu estate for $9,261,250 in September 2012.
