Little girl takes first steps thanks to EuroMillion kindness
LITTLE Skye Swinton has taken her steps, thanks to Britain’s biggest lottery winners.
“We’re so grateful to everyone who made it possible”
Skye’s mum, Ruth
Chris and Colin Weir dipped into their £161million jackpot to pay for the four-year-old to have revolutionary spinal surgery.
Skye had a four-hour op and has taken her first tentative steps walking with sticks. But mum Ruth, 39, of Cheltenham, Glos, hopes she will soon walk unaided and live a normal life.
Skye has spastic diplegic cerebral palsy, which has largely confined her to a wheelchair.
